Welcome to the San Francisco Children's System of Care Web Site!

We are proud to offer mental health and substance abuse services to over 11,000 San Francisco children, youth and families each year. Though most of our consumers are Medi-Cal eligible, we also serve families with no or limited health benefits.

Any Door, the Right Door.  No matter where a family enters our service delivery system, we are committed to meeting their needs.

We strive to keep kids in school, out of trouble, and safely in the community.  We offer a wide range of education, outreach, prevention, intervention, and treatment services.

We promote individualized, culturally competent services.  Our services are designed to meet the unique needs of each consumer.

We believe in families.  Our work is more effective if we instill in families the confidence, knowledge, and skills they need to care for their children once they have left our services.

We value youth voice.  We are working to honor the goals of young people in our services.

We believe in community.   Our services are provided through a comprehensive network of community-based providers which share our commitment to accessible, high quality, cost effective services.

This is how we see children's services.
