Multisystemic Therapy (MST) is an evidence-based mental health treatment model that has proven successful with chronic, violent, and/or substance abuse juvenile offenders at high risk of out-of-home placement. Using a home-based model of service delivery, the major goal of MST is to empower parents with the skills and resources needed to independently address the difficulties that arise in raising teenagers. MST currently is serving juvenile justice involved youth at risk of out-of-home placement or returning home from out-of-home placement in partnership with the Juvenile Probation Department. Click below for the March 2007 preliminary evaluation report for MST.

Moving Beyond Exclusion: Focusing on the Needs of Asian Pacific Islander Youth in San Francisco: To begin the process of addressing many of the factors contributing to the disparity in services within many Asian communities, the Services and Advocacy for Asian Youth Consortium initiated the preparation of a data-driven Community Response Plan for Asian youth in San Francisco.
This report describes the findings of data collected from a wide variety of sources in addition to containing recommendations to address the needs of Asian youth in San Francisco in the areas of behavioral health and juvenile justice.
Based on report findings, CBHS has funded outreach, education and case consultation activities through its SAMHSA System of Care Grant.

Each system system of care community collects data for research and quality improvement purposes. This area of the SF-CSOC website contains information and sources for program evaluators and researchers. The resource we have posted here is a document that contains the SPSS syntax (i.e., data analysis instructions) to disaggregate a single cell that contains multiple values. The process involves reverse concatenation, creation of new variables, formatting
the new variables (to numeric) and labeling the new variables and values.
